"Purna Vidya" is an inspired work for sharing the spiritual wisdom of India. It is committed to bringing a spiritual awakening of oneness in the global consciousness of the world community, through the teachings of the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita and by understanding of the spiritual cultural heritage of India.
This noble work in spiritual awakening is being carried out by Purna Vidya Trust, a non-profit organization based in India.

Swamini Pramananda Saraswati is a spiritual guide and a co-author of the "Purna Vidya" program.
Fondly known as Ammaji, she is a respected teacher of Vedanta and is a Sanskrit scholar conducting regular spiritual retreat programs, since over twenty five years. She conducts seminars for educational and other institutions creating cultural awareness and training teachers for sharing the "Purna Vidya" program with children and adults. She received sannyasa diksha from Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati and has undergone study of Vedanta and Sanskrit under him. |
Ammaji also conceptualized and ran a program for empowerment of tribal woman, as well as projects in healthcare and education for the poor tribal people of the hilly areas of Southern India. In 2006, she left the Gurukulam to lead a secluded life of sadhana at the Arunachala Hill, Thiruvannamalai and Uttarkashi in the Himalayas.
Today she continues to spend most of her time in retreat and tapas, but occasionally leaves her solitude to benefit small groups of seekers by sharing her vast spiritual knowledge with them. While at her retreat center, she also shares her knowledge with seekers who visit her, in addition to offering service activities to the neighboring villages. |

Sri Dhira Chaitanya is a co-author of the "Purna Vidya" program and has undergone study of Vedanta and Sanskrit under Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati since his young age. He has been teaching Vedanta and Vedic heritage to adults and children. Additionally, he practiced as a child and adut psychiatrist in New York, USA. His background as a psychiatrist and a Vedanta teacher gives him the unique capacity to address the role of psychological growth in spiritual pursuit with insight and authority. He currently teaches and conducts seminars and retreats on psychology and spirituality meditation and Vedanta in USA, India and other countries. |

Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati is the visionary behind this comprehensive study program. He is highly regarded as an outstanding scholar of Sanskrit and a great teacher of Vedanta in the successive line of traditional teachers. He has taught in India since 1976 and has lectured extensively in the West since 1968. Pujya Swamiji serves as a Executive Administrator, Director and Trustee of several religious, educational and cultural organizations. |
